Homeowners in state to see premiums rise

Weather, stock losses cited for average 10% rate climb

Homeowner premiums in Arkansas are expected to rise this year by an average of 10 percent. That follows an estimated 6 percent jump last year, when insurers in the state and across the country paid out claims for catastrophic events as well as for small damage.
