Wal-Mart: Changing with the times

Keith Mastin of Rogers loads items he bought Thursday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in central Rogers. Wal-Mart reported that sales were up 5 percent in April at stores open at least a year.

Mike Duke, Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s president and chief executive officer, sees a challenging retail environment continuing this fall and expects Christmas shopping will be a last-minute affair for many of the chain's customers.
