You're not going to find much

Recently seen around the neighborhood on a pleasant September morning walk: Brer Crane. Or maybe Brer Egret. Or maybe Sister Stork. Whatever its name and whatever its gender, it was a big ol' bird, standing as tall as many a human adult. This visitor was gray and lanky and quiet as a mouse. Its wingspan ? Oh, about 6 or 8 feet. We didn't get close enough to measure.
