Lake Wedington one of last to reopen from ice storm damage

Posted: September 8, 2009 at 6:20 a.m.

Angel Arredondo fishes on Monday at Lake Wedington while families celebrate Labor Day at the lake, which reopened to the public last week. The lake and its recreation areas have been closed since January due to the devastation caused by the ice storm.

"We'll be going full steam just in time to close down for the winter," Boston Mountain District Ranger Gary Williams joked last week.
