Student safety taken seriously in Pea Ridge

Some parents undoubtedly feared the worst when they got word that all four schools in Pea Ridge were under lockdown Thursday. It's a rare occurrence, and when we hear about a school lockdown, invariably the first thing that leaps to mind is a school shooter. Columbine happened a decade ago, but events like that have a way of making a lasting impression on us.
