Hogs daring on first down

Mallett says play-calling aggressive

Posted: September 7, 2009 at 2:09 a.m.

Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett says the Razorbacks' offensive play-calling dares opponents to "come stop us."

Arkansas averaged slightly more than a first down on first down in its season opening 48-10 victory over Missouri State on Saturday night.

Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett didn't disappoint in his first game as a Razorback and, along with backup Tyler Wilson, set the school record for passing yards in a single game during the Hogs' 48-10 win over Missouri State.
