Arkansas' s-s-s-s-nakes

I recently came across a small timber rattlesnake in my backyard, a reminder that living in the country amid towering hardwood trees does have a certain danger about it. Our ancestors certainly knew the dangers posed by poisonous snakes-and a whole lore has grown up around these reptiles.
