Why insist on reform when Americans don't want it?

The lust for governmental power and the current flap over health care cannot be separated. In fact, Barack Obama made three things clear during his campaign. One was universal health care. And, while he has changed his approach to this virtually every time he has discussed it publicly, the goal is still universal health care, or more correctly, socialized medicine.
