Ryan Ludwick went 5 for 5 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI and Adam Wainwright became the majors' first 17-game winner as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 14-7 on Friday night for their 10th victory in 12 games.
