Opel workers threaten pay deal

Will withdraw concessions if GM is sole owner, they say

A truckload of Opel automobiles awaits shipping from the company's factory in Bochum, Germany, on Aug. 28.

The employee council of Adam Opel GmbH said Thursday that pay concessions to help restructuring are off the table if General Motors Co. winds up as the sole owner of the company.
