State tax intake for August down by $6.7 million
Not to worry, fiscal officials say, figures on track for '10 forecast

State general revenue last month dipped $6.7 million below tax collections in August 2008 and lagged behind the state's forecast by $17.7 million, but the top fiscal official in Gov. Mike Beebe's administration said the state is sailing along just about as expected at this point.
