Packing snack packs a way for volunteers to help

The Samaritan Center spends between $12,000 and $15,000 a month for the program.

The back of the main dining hall at the Samaritan Community Center is lined with bins filled with animal crackers, pudding, pretzels, juice boxes, crackers, fruit snacks and fruit cups on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
