BP says oil well in Gulf of Mexico yields 'giant' find

Deepwater Horizon, the semisubmersible oil rig that drilled the 35,055-foot-deep Tiber well, operates in the Gulf of Mexico.
BP PLC said Wednesday that it has made a "giant" oil discovery more than six miles beneath the surface of the Gulf of Mexico but had not yet determined the size and commercial potential of the find.
