Retirees at work too soon targeted

State hunting abuses within system

Directors of the state public employee and teacher retirement systems told lawmakers Tuesday that they are trying to track down retirees who went back to work too soon, violating state law, but that another section of the law prohibits them from disclosing the identities of the people in question.
