A numbers game: Purple Dogs regain swagger against LR Central

Fayetteville knows it will see tougher opponents this season. But Little Rock Central furnished a much-needed shot of swagger for the reeling Purple Dogs after their confidence suffered a serious blow in a preseason scrimmage at Shiloh Christian. Fayetteville put that disheartening happenstance behind it Monday with a 31-0 whipping of Central at War Memorial Stadium in the Arkansas High School Kickoff Classic.
