Ford, Toyota got clunker sales lift
Chrysler, GM post another fall

The government's "cash for clunkers" program helped sales at Ford, Toyota and Honda in August as consumers snapped up their fuel-efficient offerings, but rivals Chrysler Group LLC and General Motors Co. suffered another month of falling sales.
