ROYALS GM Moore given extension KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Royals have extended General Manager Dayton Moore's contract through 2014. Despite one of the team's most disappointing seasons in years, Royals owner David Glass said two weeks ago that Moore and Manager Trey Hillman would remain.
