Profits at 2 oil giants hit 6-year low

In 3rd quarter, Shell down 62% from 2008; Exxon reports drop of 68%

Royal Dutch Shell Plc and Exxon Mobil Corp., the world’s biggest oil companies, posted their lowest third-quarter profits in six years Thursday.
