Hearing examines success of homemade bombs

They can be attached to the underbelly of a truck, ignited using a radio-controlled device hundreds of yards away or strapped to the body of a suicide bomber. After eight years of war, homemade bombs are still being used by smaller armies and terrorist agents to inflict havoc, injury and death on the larger, betterequipped U.S. military.
