Choose wisely Be smart, Hogs tell students at anti-drug rally

University of Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long emphasized the importance of making smart choices Thursday during the annual Red Ribbon Rally. “It’s all about making choices, and we encourage you to make good choices,” he said. “That means choosing your friends wisely and staying away from drugs. We’re here to applaud your efforts and provide you with the support you need.” Spearheaded by the Washington County juvenile court, the drugfree rally is hosted annually as part of National Drug-Free Week and Red Ribbon Week in conjunction with Students Against Destructive Decisions. The event took place at Bud Walton Arena on the UA campus.
