Ex-official of Scotland to speak at university

FAYETTEVILLE This is apparently the week for former officials of foreign governments to visit northwest Arkansas.
On Tuesday, a former Israeli prime minister spoke at the University of Arkansas, and drew a few protesters.
On Thursday, no protesters are expected when Henry McLeish, former first minister of Scotland, also speaks at the university. McLeish is scheduled to deliver his remarks in Giffels Auditorium in the Old Main building at mid-afternoon.
Scottish government has assumed greater importance in recent years as the United Kingdom’s parliament at London has delegated greater powers to the parliament at Edinburgh.
