100 YEARS AGO Oct. 26, 1909 Slowly but surely, the Arkansas River at Little Rock is falling toward the zero of the gauge. The river dropped yesterday to a point three-tenths of a foot above the zero of the gauge and is now three-tenths of a foot lower than it has been since the establishment of the United States Weather Bureau station at Little Rock, which was July 1, 1879.
