Q&A Europe a delight for Christmas trip

Q: My daughter is in a studyabroad program in Madrid that ends in early December, and we want to travel together (outside Spain) for 10 to 14 days after she is done. We would love to visit cities that are beautiful even in the early days of winter, and particularly those that embrace the holiday spirit.
