“My kids went for their dreams, and in so doing, taught me to, so that I could, when it was my turn.” — Wendy Taylor Carlisle Please join Ozark Poets and Writers Collective when Wendy Taylor Carlisle performs her poetry at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening in Hammontree’s at Nightbird Books on Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Carlisle is a native Arkansan who considers herself an “accidental Texan,” currently living in the border city of Texarkana.
