UA thanks, welcomes student veterans

Maj. Gen. William D. Wofford, the Adjutant General for the Arkansas National Guard, talks to veterans and University of Arkansas students and faculty Friday during a Salute to Veterans ceremony in the Arkansas Union Ballroom on campus. Wofford speaks next to an empty seat in honor of military personnel still missing in action.
Citing a desire to say both “thank you” and “welcome” at the same time, the University of Arkansas spent Friday honoring United States Armed Forces Veterans.
