Private-club permit in hand
The state Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission granted Dario Amini a private club permit which gets the wheels rolling on his plans to turn the former Ozark Mountain Smokehouse into Petit Bistro.

Dario Amini has had his sights set on turning the former Ozark Mountain Smokehouse, a North Walton Boulevard landmark near the start of the North Bentonville Trail and the Bentonville Bark Park, into a restaurant - Petit Bistro.
Plans had been on hold for four months,due to a June ruling by Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control director Michael Langley denying the new business a private club license.
The denial changed Wednesday afternoon when the ABC Commission voted 4-1 in Little Rock to grant Amini the permit, despite Langley’s earlier ruling and opposition expressed by Bentonville Mayor Bob McCaslin.
