With apologies to Andy Griffith’s ‘What It Was, Was Football’ — SO THERE we were on a nice Saturday afternoon, outside lookin’ at the mustard greens, and seein’ if they were or weren’t ready for the big pot inside. The cucumbers are just about finished now, and don’t get us started on the squash. We’d dug up the peas and tomatoes about a month ago, mainly to make room for the greens, you know. And. . . .
