U.S. jails 300 in strike at Mexico drug gangs

Agencies in 19 states take part in raids

Attorney General Eric Holder, with FBI Director Robert Mueller at the Justice Department on Thursday, pledged to keep attacking the Mexican drug trade at all levels.

In the largest single strike at Mexican drug operations in the U.S., federal officials on Thursday announced the arrests of more than 300 people in raids across the country aimed at the newest and most violent cartel.
