U.N. planes aid delivery of voting kits

Afghan workers load ballot boxes onto trucks Thursday at the Independent Election Commission compound in Kabul as the U.N. began sending out voting kits for the Nov. 7 presidential runoff.
Election authorities began delivering ballots with U.N. assistance across Afghanistan on Thursday as hurried preparations for the Nov. 7 runoff in the insurgency-plagued nation’s presidential election got under way.
