Saying yes to bonds makes perfect sense

Five weeks already seems like a lifetime ago. That’s how long it’s been since more than 10,000 Fayetteville residents voiced their opinions about the Fayetteville School District’s enthusiastic efforts to raise property taxes by 4.9 mills to pay the bills on a $116 million financing plan to build a new Fayetteville High School. Roughly 63 percent of the electorate rejected this effort.
