— How people eke out an existence without homes in four major cities around the world will be the topic of a California sociologist’s talk Thursday at Fayetteville.

David Snow, a professor at the University of California-Irvine, is scheduled to talk about what he calls “The Sidewalks of Globalization: Living on the Streets in Los Angeles, Paris, Sao Paulo and Tokyo.”

The lecture in Giffels Auditorium in the Old Main Building on the University of Arkansas campus is set for 3:30 p.m.
