FORT SMITH A former postal clerk from Oklahoma has been sentenced to probation for stealing pain medication intended for disabled veterans in Arkansas.
A federal judge in Fort Smith sentenced 36-year-old Carla Jo Wolfe of Calvin, Okla., to five years probation for stealing hydrocodone and methadone mailed to disabled veterans in Van Buren.
Judge Robert Dawson said Monday he agreed to probation for Wolfe because her cooperation with the government led to convictions of several drug dealers in Sebastian County.
