Elkins students get H1N1 vaccinations

Shyanne Walden, 10, reacts after nurse Shelley Hollingsworth gives her the H1N1 mist vaccine Tuesday at Elkins Middle School. The school offered H1N1 vaccines as well as the seasonal flu shot to students after parent-teacher conferences.

Students lined up with their parents to receive flu vaccinations Tuesday at the Elkins Middle School under the state’s new program for administering the vaccines at public schools.
