Sewer overflow common after large rains

It happened in Decatur earlier this month.

Sewer overflows, like the one that occurred in here last week, are fairly common after a large rainfall, according to Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality spokesman Aaron Sadler.

Bill Montgomery I did call the city on OCT 9 at 10:10am to report the overflow I have the phone bill to back it up, and no one has cleaned the area or spread lime and sewage is still running to the creek from the home north of spring Ave.
