A story by Ann Holbrook of Fayetteville is featured in “Chicken Soup for the Soul: Tough Times, Tough People.” Holbrook, who uses the pen name Rebecca Holbrook, wrote an essay titled “Then and Now,” where she details overcoming stage three ovarian cancer while her husband battled back injuries.
