No plans for Fayetteville School District’s Deane Solomon land in near future

With its use as a potential future high school site seemingly dashed, the 110-plus acres of land owned by the Fayetteville School District at the corner of Deane Solomon Road and West Salem Road will remain undeveloped for the foreseeable future. “I think holding onto it for the future makes sense,” Tim Hudson, school board vice president, said. “When you are looking for large plots of land that are available and affordable, it is not limitless.” The school board purchased the land in three different sections, saying it would be an investment.
