Districts devise proposals to use stimulus dollars

School facility plans must win approval of boards and voters

The Arkansas Department of Education divvied up $113 million in qualified school construction bonds to 17 school districts, but 61 percent of the funds won’t be used unless two of the districts can quickly create facilities plans that win the approval of school boards and voters.
