Retailers wage war over book prices

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Amazon.com escalated an online price war Friday over soon-to-be-released books by such best-selling authors as Stephen King and John Grisham as well as works by political figures including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.
