100 YEARS AGO Oct. 17, 1909 The Kansas Oil and Gas Company, incorporated under the laws of Kansas with a capital stock of $20,000,000, yesterday filed a copy of its articles of incorporation with the secretary of state and paid a fee of $5,051, entitling it to operate in Arkansas.
