Former President Jimmy Carter, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, said President Barack Obama deserves his prize because of the promise of an agenda that he’s working to fulfill and the achievements he’s already realized, adding, “He’s transformed the image of America around the world, he’s stopped the practice of torture, he’s called for and taken leadership in doing away with nuclear weapons.”
