Liberally Biased : What is a liberal?

I began writing this column for The Benton County Daily Record at the start of 2002. In the nearly eight years since, the column has always been called “Liberally Biased.” Back then, I confidently and proudly considered myself a liberal. Lately I have been mulling whether or not that is accurate anymore. The fact is that I am now much further to the left of most people who call themselves liberals.
