The ADG has done a good job reporting on Oklahoma's clean water lawsuit in most instances. However, it must be pointed out that the Federal Court lawsuit underway in Tulsa is not Attorney General Drew Edmondson's lawsuit. In your article the following statement is made: "...part of Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson’s effort to prove Springdale-based Tyson Foods Inc. and six other poultry companies polluted the watershed with manure". Actually, the lawsuit was filed on behalf of the people of Oklahoma and on behalf of the Oklahoma Secretary of Environment. To say the suit is "Drew Edmondson's" lawsuit promotes the false impression that this matter is merely a political matter. In truth, it is an environmental protection issue paramount to the interest of Oklahoma citizens.
Thank you
