Womack calls trip to Washington, D.C., a success

Area cities worked together on key issues.

Four mayors and a city administrator traveled from northwest Arkansas to Washington, D.C., last week. They argued on behalf of more rural communities and for larger allocations of transportation funding and lobbied against new phosphorous regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency.
