World Garden reaching out to stop hunger

One vision to the feed the hungry goes beyond opening a restaurant.

Volunteer Kay Scott from Kay’s Kitchen and Rick Boosey loaded a bag with food for a family of five at Boosey’s Bentonville restaurant, World Garden, on Sunday. Others were preparing food in the restaurant kitchen for delivery to the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter and other area charitable organizations.

When most people think of a restaurant, they assume it’s feeding hungry folks — the concept seems almost too obvious to mention.
