With smoke detectors, it’s not what, but how
The Rogers Fire Department wants to make sure the lifesaving equipment is properly installed.

Without records, Rogers Fire Department spokesman Michael Dean doesn’t know how many smoke detectors firefighters have given away. Even if he had records, Dean wouldn’t know how many of those smoke detectors were properly installed.
