Rain could dampen, but maybe not damper homecoming plans

Posted: October 8, 2009 at 7:36 a.m.

Rain forecast for Thursday and Friday has already changed some homecoming plans for a local high school and may affect other plans. Rogers High School and Bentonville High School will celebrate their respective homecomings Friday, with some activities taking place Thursday. BHS homecoming assembly that is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. today will be moved from Tiger Stadium to the gymnasium at the high school. A reserved section will be held for guests and alumni until about 2:05 p.m., and the assembly will start about 10 minutes later. The assembly will be open only to juniors and seniors.
