Farm lessons : Education turns green for area high school students

Students from Bentonville and Fayetteville high schools toured the farm to learn what certain departments are doing to help with sustainability.

Riding around on bales of hay being hauled by tractors, Fayetteville and Bentonville high school students toured the University of Arkansas Agricultural Research and Extension Center with vehicles used on real farms. Science teacher Robin Buff of Fayetteville High School and Kim Murie of Bentonville brought students from their science classes to learn about the research in food and sustainability practices going on at the Fayetteville center.
