Ex-jailer found dead; was scheduled for trial

Patrick Drake, a corrections officer fired from the Miller County jail after female inmates accused him of engaging in sexual activity on the job, is believed to have shot and killed himself the day he was supposed to appear in court for a hearing, authorities said Wednesday.
