Verizon, Google go Android for phones

Verizon and Google are pairing up to take on the Apple iPhone.
Verizon Wireless, the largest U.S. mobile-phone company, will develop devices based on Google Inc.’s Android operating system, aiming to challenge AT&T Inc.’s iPhone.
