TABLE FOR ONE : Among the football gods
The thrill of meeting our idols never fades

I sat on the Razorback bench during the Baylor game back in 1959 and actually touched my all-time Razorback hero, Lance Alworth. But that’s nothing compared to the good fortune of two local 12-year-old boys who were privileged to run onto the field with the Hogs last Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Max and Mason rode the team bus to the stadium and hung out in the locker room. For all I know they taped the ankles of their favorite hero before the Hogs handed Texas A&M a 47-19 drubbing.
